Mr Green, one of William Hill's flagship brands, is entering the Latvian markets and the company is leveraging the experience of 11th lv, another William Hill asset in the country.
William Hill breaks land in Latvia with Mr Green
William Hill once again entered the Latvian iGaming market with its introduction Mr. Green and thanks to the license issued by the Lottery and Gambling Supervision Inspection of the Republic of Latvia.
The company continues to build its presence in the Baltic states, strengthening its position in Latvia after the acquisition of MRG Group and its flagship brand 11.lv. MRG Group acquired 11lv in 2018.
Moving on, William Hill will also be responsible for Mrgreen.lv, another brand that was originally owned by MRG Group before the buyout, benefiting not only the local ecosystem but also making good use of the lessons learned from lv 11 on the Mr Green domain.
Commenting on this partnership, William Hill Latvian Operations CEO, Janis Tregers, said the arrival of Mr Green is an opportunity for the company to further shape the market in its image. Despite the challenges 2020 has presented to the industry and consumers, the news that there is still room for growth was inspiring, Tregers noted.
Ready to grow, ready to double your market share
As Tregers says, any extra time the brand had was used to develop a high-quality entertainment product and use it to create a safe and fair environment for all. William Hill International and CEO Mr Green Ltd, Patrick Jonker, spoke positively about the team's experience in the Baltic States.
He praised the know-how of the local Latvian team and said that combining this knowledge with a well-known brand such as Mr Green is a winning combination and the company is looking forward to to double your presence on the Latvian market.
"Of course, we are also happy to use the Green Gaming framework to further strengthen our group's position in responsible gaming in our business" - Jonker summed up.
Latvia remains an important market in the iGaming industry. Companies like Enlabs AB have been present in the country for years.
Recently, GiG has partnered with the Latvian operator Admirālu Klubs as proof of a strong local market for iGaming. William Hill's assets in the United States were subject to an approved acquisition by Caesars Entertainment.
