Gaming Realms is looking to boost US growth with BetMGM

Gaming Realms is partnering with BetMGM to increase its presence in the US market and deliver high-quality Slingo content to US players.

BetMGM is joining forces with Realms Gaming for Slingo Content

Gaming Realms is continuing to work on its US presence with a new partnership with BetMGM, a company specializing in online gaming and sports betting. The partnership is focused on the US market and marks similar moves in the recent past to strengthen the position of Gaming Realms.

In October 2020, the company partnered with NetEnt to create dedicated Slingo games, and the year was marked by an overall revenue increase of 55%, the company said in a preliminary report. Through a new partnership with BetMGM, AIM-listed mobile bingo developer will add extensive Slingo content to the gaming operator's websites in the United States.

BetMGM Casino is currently operating in Pennsylvania and will go online in Michigan by mid-2021, the press release said. More importantly, should the partnership prove successful, Gaming Realms will have quick and easy access to the US market thanks to a company that expects to dominate the gaming and betting market in the next few years.

BetMGM is the brainchild of MGM Resorts International and Entain Plc. Entain recently changed its name to GVC Holdings, which led to a takeover offer from MGM Resorts International a few months later that was eventually rejected. Commenting on the partnership, Gaming Realms CEO Michael Buckley added in a statement:

"We are delighted to be able to sign an extended contract with BetMGM, who has been a fantastic partner in successfully distributing our Slingo portfolio to the iGaming market in New Jersey."

Buckley expects that this linkage will allow his company to work closely with BetMGM and help Slingo's content gain popularity with consumers across the US. The director also confirmed that Gaming Realms continues to strive to increase its presence in the US market, which he considers a key priority.
